26 year old Forward Justin Ducharme will transfer from Fife Flyers to Flames for the new campaign.  The 6’0”, 185lb skater made his EIHL debut last season in Scotland.  An early injury sidelined him from September to December, but he returned to ice in 34 games where he posted 6 goals and 15 points. 

The native of Mirabel, Quebec in Canada made his EU debut in 24-25 when he split time at Slovak HC Nove Zamky and Czechia2 Berani Zlin. He returned to ECHL with Trois-Rivières Lions and posted 13 goals and 38 points in 70 starts across league and playoffs while helping the club to the Kelly Cup championship.   

After 4 QMJHL campaigns between 2017 and 2021, including a league title and a National Memorial Cup capture in 2017-2018 with Acadie-Bathurst Titan, Ducharme began his pro career at AHL Laval Rocket in 2021-2022. He played 19 games and had 5 goals and 2 assists.  Including last season, he made 195 ECHL starts, posting 130 points from 50 goals and 80 assists, and another 23 points across 51 playoff appearances.

“Justin had a tough start to his EIHL career with a serious injury but he came back to play well in the back half of the schedule,” said Paul Dixon.

“He can play both ends of the rink, contribute offensively, and play a physical, gritty style of game.”

“He is a great addition to the depth of our forward group and we are excited to see Justin with us in just a couple of weeks.”
