Chase Gresock joins Flames
After a year in France, Chase Gresock will return to EIHL this time in Flames colours. The 27 year old forward iced 58 games last term at French Magnus League Rouen where he had 26 goals and 49 points. He transferred to the EU based league after a season at Coventry Blaze where he led the team scoring charts thanks to 39 goals, a league topping total, and 39 assists for 78 points in 64 starts. The American native was rewarded for his efforts by taking home an EIHL All-Star First Team selection on top of being named the league’s forward of the year and picked as a Media First All-Star Team member. After 5 NCAA seasons between Merrimack College, Miami of Ohio University, and Bowling Green State University, where he amassed 46 goals and 104 points in 135 games, the 6’1”, 205lb skater made his pro debut at AHL San Jose Barracuda to close out the 22-23 term. He caught on the following season at Toledo Walley where 36 points in 75 games opened the door to his Coventry move for the 24-25 season. “Chase was unquestionably a dominant player for Coventry Blaze when he was here a couple of seasons back,” said Paul Dixon. “Every place he has been he has been able to be a very successful offensive performer and we are looking forward to the impact we know he will have on our team this season." |
