Hook opts out of year 3
Lewis Hook has opted out of the 3rd and final year of his existing contract with Flames. The 29 year old iced 51 games last year, scoring 6 goals and 11 assists. Across 3 seasons, Hook made 180 Flames appearances and recorded 108 points from 40 goals and 68 assists. His best season was during his opening set at Spectrum where the 6’0”, 180lb skater finished 2nd in club scoring with 22 goals and 57 points in 69 starts. “Lewis made a decision that he wanted to look at alternative options where he felt he would get an opportunity that he may not have within our lineup this season,” explained Head Coach Paul Dixon. “We were able to come to an agreement on the way in which we could allow him to pursue his alternatives, and we have agreed to part ways for the 26-27 season.” “We thank Lewis for his 3 season contribution to the club, and we wish him and his family all the best during his next stop.” |
