Power Joins Flames
Defenceman Jordan Power will move from Coventry Blaze to Flames this season. The 25 year old Canadian began last term at ECHL Greenville Swamp Rabbits, icing in 13 games before a mid season transfer for his UK debut. In 38 Blaze outings, the 6’2”, 200lb skater had 8 goals and 18 assists. Power iced 5 NCAA seasons from 2020 to 2025, 3 with Clarkson before finishing with a pair at Minnesota State University. In 163 starts, he had 10 goals and 43 points and was on hand for the 24-25 NCAA, CCHA conference, regular season and playoff championship. “Jordan had an excellent stint with Coventry last season when he arrived in December,” said Paul Dixon. “Not only did he show himself as a solid defender, he demonstrated an offensive flair.” “There is no doubt in our minds that he will be a big addition for us at both ends of the ice, and he is part of a significant makeover at the back that we believe makes us a better team.”
