Steven McParland has been added to the Flames roster.

He began the current schedule in Germany after his Elite League debut last year at Glasgow Clan where he bagged 19 goals and 46 points in 54 league starts in addition to 3 points across 6 Cup appearances.  Prior to his UK landing, the product of Terrace Bay, Ontario spent 3 seasons in the Italian Alps league predominantly with Asiago ahead of the 21-22 term when he transferred to Fassa. In 110 games, he tallied 73 goals and 99 assists across a stretch that included back to back Italian titles in 2019-2020 and 2020-2021.

The 32 year old, kicked off his pro career in 2016 with a handful of games at Elmira Jackals. He went on to make 197 ECHL starts with Jackals, South Carolina Stingrays and Idaho Steelheads posting 77 goals and 165 points along the way to go with a couple of points in 12 AHL starts where he dressed for Chicago Wolves, Binghampton Senators, Texas Stars and San Diego Gulls. 

His pro stops were preceded by 4 NCAA seasons at Providence College between 2012 and 2016.  In 129 collegiate games, the 5’11”, 200lb skater scored 14 goals and added 30 assists.
