Rupert leads the Flames off ice, in and out of season, fitness programmes. He is a former player including parts of 2 seasons with Flames between 2015 and 2017 plus a pair of seasons with Cardiff Devils before that.  He began gaining fitness industry experience in 2015 before going on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science (Human Performance) in 2019 and a Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning in 2021.  He is the current owner and operator of Train Bodysmart dealing with a range of clients including youth hockey players and has served as Regional Strength and Conditioning Coach for the English Ice Hockey Association since 2020.
